HKS GARAGE R RACING makes it to the podium as first runner-up in MMER Touring Production Class.

HKS GARAGE R RACING TEAM goes all the way up to Sepang International Circuit to take part in the 12 HRS “Merdeka Millennium Endurance Race” again this year.
The 11^th MMER was divided in three different classes
- GT Class
- Sports Production Class
- Touring Production Class

A Total of 3 Teams from Singapore took part in the event in different class.

Congrats to both the team HKS Garage R Racing TEAM who finish 2^nd in Touring Production Class
and BTB Racing who finish 3^rd in Sports Production Class.

Unfortunately for Porsche Club Singapore, finishes pole position during the qualifying but the car failed them half way through the race.

The race were setup in a way that 3 different classes were racing at the same time together with the starting formation of GT Class at the front, followed by Sports Production Class and Touring Production Class according to their Qualifying time in each class.
With this large numbers of cars in the track at the same time racing, overtaking is much more difficult than usual, and you have to take in consideration that the race which starts at midnight where some part of the track is pitch dark with little light. There’s bound to have accident if there’s someone who loses concentration during the 12HRS race.

Most of us will find it difficult to stay awake throughout the 12HRS race as that’s the time where most of us are resting in bed for work/school the following day.

HKS Garage R Racing Team did well to qualify third place during the qualifying, and finished second as the car stayed reliable, allowing the drivers and crew to fight their way till the end of the 12HRS race.
